Concrete Floors

Concrete floors can be a thing of beauty or a source of frustration, and the differentiating factor is the experience and capabilities of your concrete contractor. Being in business for 20 years means we have poured a lot of concrete floors, whether those be basement floors, or monolithic slabs for a barn or garage.

A concrete floor does not need to be a drab gray slab though. If you are in need of a floor for a garage or barn, a great option is epoxy coating. Epoxy provides a number of benefits. First it can be colored to give a more attractive appearance, but it also acts as a sealant and moisture barrier which is resistant to common chemicals that may be spilt which may otherwise weaken the concrete. Instead these chemicals can be easily wiped off with the concrete unharmed. Additionally, non-slip aggregates can be added to the epoxy to prevent it from becoming slippery when wet.

The same applies when using epoxy on your basement floor, but for your finished basement, you may want something a little more special. Before the epoxy is applied we can first acid stain the concrete in your choice of colors, or an array of colors or in a pattern. There are nearly an endless number of possibilities, and equally as important, once sealed with the epoxy you will have a durable, long lasting, low maintenance floor for your family to enjoy for the lifetime of your home.
